Installation

ADHESIVE AND PLASTER:

  1. Preparation of adhesive
  2. Application of adhesive by trowel on the posterior surface of the stone
  3. Laying the stone
  4. Grouting with a bag
  5. Pointing up joints with semi-hard cement using a stick or trowel
  6. Wiping stones and joints with a wet sponge
  7. Final rinse with a pressure washer or garden hose, or if the stone has cement stains, wipe over the stones with acid and rinse thoroughly.

MORTAR:

  1. Preparing the mixture (1/3 sifted sand, 1/3 lime, 1/3 cement)
  2. Applying the mortar to the posterior surface of the stone
  3. Laying the stone
  4. Pointing up the joints with semi-hard mortar
  5. Wiping the stones and joints with a wet sponge
  6. Final rinse with a pressure washer or garden hose or if the stones have cement stains, wipe over the stones with delta acid and rinse thoroughly
