Natural Stone

Natural stone has always created great fascination. It has been used throughout the whole history of architecture. Stone is reassuringly eternal, the quality that man has been building into his symbolic artifacts for thousands of years.

It is such a part of our daily lives that over time it has become a testimony to society, the embodiment of the close link between our culture and the land we live in. Using natural stone is not the same as using any other material, it never stays in the background; on the contrary, it tells of a past which is still alive and which we are a part of.

Stone is a natural material par excellence with none of the colouring oxides, chemical compounds, cements or clays which all reconstructed stones are made of; it lends itself to a variety of architectural styles, fitting in beautifully alongside any other material in any situation.
